Lowe will play charismatic yet self-possessed, award-winning movie star 'Eddie Nero,' a possible contender to play Hank in the film version of his hit novel as it gets turned into a film on this season of the show. The New York Times is reporting that Producer Ken Davenport (Oleanna, 13, Altar Boyz, Awesome 80s Prom) is behind a new stage revival of Aaron Sorkin's A Few Good Men. He, alongside director David Esbjornson (The Goat, Or Who Is Sylvia?) are in the process of seeking out a lead to star as Lt. Daniel Kaffee in the production in a 2010-2011 revival on Broadway. This production will be the first revival since 1991, when it played the Music Box Theatre. Tom Hulce originated the role on stage in 1989. Tom Cruise famously took the role to the silver screen in 1991.
Multi-talented Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner Ricky Gervais ('The Invention of Lying,' 'The Office') will host 'The 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards' on Sunday, January 17, 2010 on NBC. This year's show will be broadcast live coast-to-coast from 5-8 p.m. (PT) and 8-11 p.m. (ET) from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. This marks the first time the telecast has had a host since 1995.
