The Rrazz Room, San Francisco?s premier nightclub offering world class jazz, soul, cabaret, comedy and popular music entertainment, has announced the lineup for its 1st Anniversary Gala & Benefit for St Jude Children's Hospital. The Gala will be held Tuesday, March 17th at The Rrazz Room at The Hotel Nikko, 222 Mason, San Francisco at 7:30 PM. Performers for the Gala, most of whom appear regularly at the Rrazz Room, include Rita Moreno, Petula Clark, Paul Williams, Stefanie Powers, Sally Kellerman, Paula West, Freda Payne, Linda Clifford, Edna Wright & Honey Cone, Valarie Pettiford, David Hernandez, Tim Hockenberry, Sony Holland, and Terese Genecco. Mistress of Ceremonies for the evening is Jan Wahl. Black tie/ cocktail attire is recommended and there will be an auction as part of the festivities. Performances begin on Monday, February 9th, 2009 at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre (230 West 49th Street). The official opening will be Monday, March 9th, 2009.
