The Guardian writes that a new collection of letters by famed composer Leonard Bernstein -- Nigel Simeone's Leonard Bernstein Letters, set to debut next month -- reveal the composer's 'hostility' for WEST SIDE STORY book writer Arthur Laurents. Bernstein even considered walking away from the project, according to one of the letters.

Deadline reports that TV Land's HAPPILY DIVORCED, produced by and starring The Nanny's Fran Drescher, has been cancelled. The comedy will not be moving on to a third season following its February finale.
Multi-award winning performer, Rita Moreno, will take the stage on Saturday, August 17 for an exclusive benefit performance in honor of the 10th anniversary of the Napa Valley Opera House. Moreno is one of only nine performers ever to win all four major artistic awards, including an Academy Award, Emmy, Grammy and Tony.
