Morrisson Theatre Chorus's Holiday Concert Set for 12/11-14

The Morrisson Theatre Chorus, under the musical direction of Cesar Cancino, will present its Holiday Concert: Special Songs for a Special Time of the Year on December 11, December 12 and December 13 at 8:00pm and December 14 at 2:00pm. The Holiday Concert will feature a selection of sacred classical works, popular holiday songs, gospel and spiritual selections, as well as audience sing-a-long pieces.

City of Berkeley Proclaims September 30, 2014 'Tony Taccone Day' in Honor of Berkeley Rep's Artistic Director

Berkeley Repertory Theatre announces that the City of Berkeley has proclaimed Tuesday, September 30, 2014 Tony Taccone Day. This day will honor Berkeley Rep's Michael Leibert Artistic Director Tony Taccone as a pioneer in contemporary American theatre. Berkeley Mayor Tom Bates will host a ceremony to present Taccone an official proclamation between 7:00 PM and 7:30 PM in the City Council Chambers at 2134 Martin Luther King Jr. Way. The ceremony will be broadcast on local radio through KPFB Radio 89.3 and on television through Cable B-TV, Channel 33.

EMMY Award-Winner Bruce Vilanch stars in a staged reading of RUBBLE, a new comedy by 4 time EMMY Award-Winning 'The Simpsons' writer, Mike Reiss at The Provincetown Theater. 'The Sopranos' star and Broadway veteran Jerry Adler also joins the cast. The staged reading of RUBBLE will be directed by James Valletti for one night only to benefit The Provincetown Theater. All proceeds go directly to support The Provincetown Theater.
