THE SPANISH GUITAR is an epic tale that will transport the audience to exotic places with video, new songs, and an ever changing set. Benise's new show will feature his guitar as protagonist, as it becomes the keeper of the stories of glory and tragedy through times and world's gone by. Benise - The Spanish Guitar will perform in Jacksonville on Wednesday, November 3rd at 7:30PM at the Times Union Center's Moran Theater.

DreamWorks Theatricals and Broadway Across America today announced that they have partnered to launch 'Madagascar Live,' DreamWorks Theatricals' first-ever live family touring show. The production is expected to visit over 70 cities across the United States beginning in January 2011, including a stop at Detroit's Fox Theatre from Friday, April 29 through Sunday, May 1. The Give a Damn Campaign (www.wegiveadamn.org), a project of Cyndi Lauper's True Colors Fund, has released its newest public service announcement focusing on hate crimes based on sexual orientation and gender identity. Ricky Martin, Elton John, Idina Menzel, Rachael Harris and Wanda Sykes speak out about the need to bring an end to these senseless acts of violence and intimidation. The PSA saw its world premiere last night on CNN's Larry King Live during an episode featuring the topic of anti-gay bullying.
