Today, Hard Rock International Chairman & CEO, Jim Allen, announced the Grand Opening date for the highly-anticipated Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City. This announcement included a star-studded entertainment lineup with more than 50 shows and events that will go on sale Friday, April 20 th. Utah Symphony | Utah Opera today announced its lineup for the 2018 Deer Valley Music Festival in addition to its plans to celebrate its 15th year of calling Park City, Utah its summer home. Highlights of the six-week, 17-concert music festival, which begins on June 30, 2018 and runs through August 11, 2018, include Utah Symphony performances with Emmy and Tony Award-winning Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth, folk-rock singer-songwriter Amos Lee, 14-time Grammy Award-winner Ricky Skaggs, and Grammy Award-winner Rick Springfield; music of John Williams with scores from some of Hollywood's biggest blockbuster movies; Broadway vocalists and show tunes honoring Andrew Lloyd Webber and Stephen Sondheim musicals; tributes to Swedish pop sensation ABBA, Pink Floyd and the music of the 1970s and '80s; Disney in Concert "A Silly Symphony Celebration" with scenes from some of Disney's earliest colorful cartoons playing on giant screens; and the perennial favorite, "1812 Overture" with live cannon fire on the hillside provided by Cannoneers of the Wasatch.

Based on a true story from Carly Craig, this eight-episode comedy series about dating and relationships in the digital age will debut on YouTube Red in 2018.SWIPE RIGHT, currently in production, stars Craig (American Housewife, Hall Pass) as “Olivia.” Leading the cast as series regulars are award-winning actress Rosanna Arquette (Pulp Fiction, After Hours, The Whole Nine Yards, Desperately Seeking Susan) as “Mary” and Chelsea Frei (Hostess, Audition, Wolf) as “Jayne.”

Blue Note Hawaii is continuing its second anniversary celebration with the week-long residency of jazz trumpeter Chris Botti. The Hawaii News Now Jazz Legends series kicks off with musical icon Chick Corea. Other international and national recording artists include Filipino super star Martin Nievera in a Valentine's Day series, followed by 80s pop star Rick Springfield. Returning to the Blue Note Hawaii stage by popular demand is guitar legend Lee Ritenour. The local artists this month include Honolulu-based jazz and hip hop drummer Dae Han, the incomparable Willie K and beautiful songstress Raiatea Helm. There are also powerful tributes to Whitney Houston featuring Ginai, Quincy Jones and John Coltrane with Mike Lewis & Friends. There's reggae on tap with a celebration of Bob Marley's birthday in what promises to be an amazing evening of music. Josh Kaye & Friends will pay homage to Nina Simone featuring vocalist Sherry Graham.

Jazz Guitarist Tyler Reese Releases New Album

Guitarist Tyler Reese has been releasing jazz-rock records since he was 15, but the now 23-year-year-old finally reached Billboard's Top 5, which is where his newly-released “Reminiscence” debuted on the contemporary jazz albums chart. News of the No. 5 chart entry opened a memorable week for the guitar prodigy whose new collection, produced by Jeff Silverman (Rick Springfield, Hiroshima, The Allman Brothers Band, Tim Weisberg) and Reese, is up for two trophies at Thursday's Hollywood Music in Media Awards. Reese will end the week back home on Sunday night in Fredericksburg, Virginia playing the first of two local concert dates to celebrate the release of the record comprised entirely of his original jazz fusion compositions and showcases his guitar artistry that once scored him an invite to play for and jam with Prince at Paisley Park.

Over the past three decades, Rick Springfield has worn many hats as an entertainer and performer. The creator of some of the finest power-pop of the '80s, a Grammy winning singer, songwriter, and musician who has sold 25 million albums and scored 17 U.S. Top 40 hits, including Jessie's Girl, Don't Talk to Strangers, An Affair of the Heart, I've Done Everything for You, Love Somebody, and Human Touch. He's an accomplished actor who has starred opposite Meryl Streep in the feature film Ricki and the Flash, gave a chameleonic performance as the creepy Dr. Pitlor in HBO's prestige drama True Detective, earned great reviews for his portrayal of Lucifer this season on the CW hit, Supernatural and most recently played Pastor Charles on American Horror Story. In 2014, Springfield was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, located around the corner from the first apartment he lived in when he first arrived in the U.S. from Australia in 1971.
