Kansas to Expand Tour in Celebration of 40th Anniversary of Album 'Point of Know Return'

America's preeminent progressive rock band, KANSAS, will be touring select cities in the United States and Canada next spring, expanding the celebration of the 40th Anniversary of their massive hit album Point of Know Return. For the first time in history, the band is performing the album Point of Know Return in its entirety. The tour showcases more than two hours of classic KANSAS music including hit songs, deep cuts, and fan favorites. Tickets and KANSAS VIP Packages for most dates go on sale to the general public Friday, October 19, 2018.

The finest radio dramas of the 1930's was The Mercury Theater On The Air, founded by Orson Welles and John Houseman. Together, they presented many classic pieces of literature, and shook the country with it's terrifying staging of "War of the Worlds." Main Street Theatre Works (MSTW) is re-creating one of these literary classic radio plays, The 39 Steps, complete with live sound effects. This limited-engagement fundraiser will have two matinee performances ~ Saturday & Sunday, October 20th & 21st, and one evening performance on that Saturday night, at the Native Sons Hall in Sutter Creek. Tickets are $25 and include a dessert bar, coffee or tea, and the show. A no-host wine bar will be available Saturday.

The tour will showcase more than two hours of classic KANSAS music including hit songs, deep cut, and fan favorites, making a stop at The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts on Saturday, November 17 at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale to theatre members Wednesday, March 21 at 10 a.m. and go on sale to the general public Friday, March 23 at 10 a.m.
