The King and I, one of Rodgers and Hammerstein's most treasured musicals, is the next show in the 2013 Music Circus season, at the Wells Fargo Pavilion from August 6 - 11. With book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II and music by Richard Rodgers, the show features the classic songs 'Shall We Dance?,' 'Getting to Know You' and 'Something Wonderful.'

Kelly Ripa stopped by Broadway's RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA to get a backstage tour from Tony nominated actress Laura Osnes. The cast of the show also stopped by 'Live' to perform 'Stepsister's Lament'.

Milwaukee Repertory Theater announced casting today for Ragtime, the sweeping musical which will kick off The Rep's 2013/14 60th Anniversary Season in the Quadracci Powerhouse theater.

The Richard Rodgers Theatre Box Office (226 West 46th Street) opens today at 10:00am EST for the new Broadway production of Shakespeare's ROMEO AND JULIET, starring international film star Orlando Bloom and two-time Tony Award nominee Condola Rashad as the titular star-crossed lovers, and directed by five-time Tony Award nominee David Leveaux. The opening of the box office also marks the launch of the production's Student Ticket Program; in order to make this production accessible to all, 100 tickets per performance will be set aside at $20 for students and educators.

The cast of THE KING AND I includes the incredibly talented and imposingly regal Ron Banks as the King of Siam, who has performed the role over 500 times in both national and regional productions. As announced this morning, Oscar-, Grammy- and Tony-winning composer Alan Menken and lyricist Glenn Slater have been nominated for a 2013 Emmy for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for their song 'More Or Less The Kind Of Thing You May Or May Not Possibly See On Broadway', which aired during the 'Sing Like A Larry Bird' episode of ABC's THE NEIGHBORS this season. If the duo takes home the award, Menken will have achieved the fabled 'EGOT' -- that is, he will have won an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony.

Hotel Nikko San Francisco and Michael Feinstein have announced two upcoming performers at the all-new Feinstein's at the Nikko -- actor and comedian Bruce Vilanch and Tony Award nominated composers Pasek and Paul. Located within Hotel Nikko (222 Mason Street, San Francisco), Feinstein's at the Nikko will present a wide range of entertainers all within an intimate 140-seat cabaret setting. Bruce Vilanch will perform for one-night-only tonight, July 18th at 8 p.m. Pasek and Paul will perform two performances only - Friday, July 19 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, July 20 at 7 p.m.

Producer David Stone announced today that If/Then, the new musical by the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning creative team behind Next To Normal, Tom Kitt (music), Brian Yorkey (book and lyrics), and Michael Greif (director), will play Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street) in spring 2014.
