Today, Tuesday, May 25, The Kennedy Center announced that Tina Fey is the 2010 recipient of the Mark Twain Prize of American Humor. Established in 1998, the annual award is to an individual who has had an impact on American society in ways similar to 19th century novelist and essayist, Mark Twain. The ceremony, to be held Tuesday November 9, will feature a lineup of the biggest names in comedy, and will be taped for television broadcast.

Opening at Theater West on April 20 and running through May 16 (Saturdays @ 8pm and Sundays @ 7PM). The Life and Times of A. Einstein is an off-beat, moving, one-character play... a day in the life of Albert Einstein, as seen through the eyes of his secretary and 'watch-dog', ELLEN. The year is 1934.

Edward Herrmann and Jill Clayburgh will headline a reading of CHASING THE TIGER, a new play by Gail Sheehy, on June 5 to benefit Community Mental Health Affiliates Methodist Church.

Although TV viewers know Denis Leary as the Emmy/Golden Globe-nominated dramatic star of FX's hit series Rescue Me, his career began in Boston comedy clubs as a stand-up. His 'second' tour return to those comedy roots, The Rescue Me Comedy Tour 2, will showcase Leary's politically-incorrect style of humor at PlayhouseSquare June 22 at 8 pm.
