Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. This September, 54 BELOW presents an exciting lineup of the brightest talent from Broadway and beyond. Located just below the legendary Studio 54 at 254 West 54th Street.
On September 17th, most of the original cast of the Broadway musical Cry-Baby will reunite in concert at 54 Below. The 9:30pm & 11:30pm concerts will also serve to celebrate the upcoming cast recording of the show, featuring most of the original cast.
Vassar & New York Stage and Film, whose 31st Powerhouse Season is underway in Poughkeepsie, have announced additional casting for their summer collaboration, running through August 2.
The original Broadway cast of CRY-BABY will take the stage at 54 Below for a reunion concert later this fall, according to the venue's official website. The concert will be performed twice on Sept. 17, once at 9:30 p.m. and then at 11:00 p.m.
