The saga continues. The musical “Plain Paper: Amish News That's Print to Fit” will be presented Sundays September 10 & 17 at 6:00 PM, at the Locke Township Meeting House, the second stage adjacent to The Round Barn Theatre at Amish Acres. In lieu of an admission charge donations will be collected for Family Christian Development Center of Nappanee.

Beginning with this year's Arts & Crafts Festival's awards, the two dimensional purchase prize will be known as the Dori Crane Best of Show Prize. The 2017 festival judges Justin Barfield and Lucas Korte, both art professors at the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana will have the honor of choosing the first Dori Crane award to its winner.

The 54TH annual Amish Acres Arts & Crafts Festival will be held Thursday through Sunday, August 4 - August 7, 2016 on the grounds of Amish Acres, an 80 acre historic Amish farm listed in the National Register of Historic Places. For the eighth time, Amish Acres Festival has been selected by the American Bus Association (ABA) as a TOP 100 event in North America.
The Round Barn Theatre at Amish Acres is celebrating its 30th anniversary of Plain and Fancy which opens May 25 and runs through October 15. With over 3,600 performances before audiences totaling 355,000, it has become one of the longest running musicals of all time.
The Round Barn Theatre has announced its next year's season three months earlier than ever before. 'We have aggressively surveyed our subscribers and patrons since the beginning of the year to determine their choices for shows throughout the nine month season,' said Artistic Director Jeremy Littlejohn, 'We have dubbed the resulting season 'Incredible' to describe the diversity of choices that make up the 2014 season.'
The York Theatre Company presented the 16th Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre on Monday, November 12 to Broadway playwright Joseph Stein. The Award culminates York's yearlong celebration of Stein with the Fall 2006 and Fall 2007 Musicals in Mufti Series - the York's acclaimed series of musical theatre gems in staged concert performances.
