Disney's THE LION KING will close at DPAC stage January 30, 2011.

Disney's The Lion King, playing at the Durham Performing Arts Center through January 30, is theatrical storytelling at its most spectacular. Take a familiar father/son story that borrows heavily from Shakespeare, the Greeks, and the Bible. Add incredible, near unimaginable, artistry - puppets, masks, glorious costumes and scenery. The Triangle's most eagerly awaited stage production will begin performances at DPAC on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 for a limited engagement of 4 weeks through Sunday, January 30, 2011. The opening night is Thursday, January 6 at 7:30pm.

Broadway In Chicago is pleased to announce the return of Disney's THE LION KING for a six-week engagement at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph St.) beginning September 29, 2010.
