The producers of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical Jersey Boys have announced that Joseph Leo Bwarie and Nick Cosgrove will assume the role of Frankie Valli in the Broadway cast on Tuesday, January 28, 2014. Mr. Bwarie, who made his Broadway debut in the show last year, has played the role of Frankie Valli nearly 1,700 performances (including Las Vegas, the 1st national tour and Broadway). Mr. Cosgrove makes his Broadway debut direct from the national tour. After nearly 6 years with the production between the Broadway, Las Vegas and Chicago companies, Dominic Scaglione Jr. will play his final performance as Frankie Valli on Sunday, January 26, 2013.

On Wednesday, October 30th, the blockbuster musical, WICKED, will celebrate its 10th Anniversary on Broadway, a milestone achieved by only ten other Broadway productions in history. Billy Porter, 2013 Tony Award Winner for Best Actor in a Musical (Kinky Boots) surprised students of Broadway Artists Alliance Summer Intensive Session One with his appearance on July 25th. Porter entertained the students with tales of his experiences. In addition, he participated in a Q&A, answering student's questions and providing advice for young performers. Feather: A Musical Portrait, a new musical fusing art, music and film will have its New York premiere this summer as part of The New York Music Theatre Festival (NYMF), celebrating its 10th Anniversary Season. With a book by Jeremy Culver, music composed by Charleene Clossheyand featuring songs by Nick Everitt & Liesl Karlsson, this story of love and sacrifice will be presented in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Aves.). Directed by Mr. Culver, performances will begin on July 9th and continue through July 16th.
