Joseph Leo Bwarie & Nick Cosgrove to Assume Role of 'Frankie Valli' in Broadway's JERSEY BOYS, 1/28; Dominic Scaglione Jr. to Depart

The producers of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical Jersey Boys have announced that Joseph Leo Bwarie and Nick Cosgrove will assume the role of Frankie Valli in the Broadway cast on Tuesday, January 28, 2014. Mr. Bwarie, who made his Broadway debut in the show last year, has played the role of Frankie Valli nearly 1,700 performances (including Las Vegas, the 1st national tour and Broadway). Mr. Cosgrove makes his Broadway debut direct from the national tour. After nearly 6 years with the production between the Broadway, Las Vegas and Chicago companies, Dominic Scaglione Jr. will play his final performance as Frankie Valli on Sunday, January 26, 2013.

JERSEY BOYS Cast to Usher in the Super Bowl on 'Super Bowl Boulevard', 1/29

Stars from the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS will perform in Super Bowl Boulevard on Wednesday, January 29 at 6:00 PM as part of the NFL's reveal of the Super Bowl Roman Numerals­ the highly anticipated bright lights on Broadway at 43rd Street that frame the 20-feet tall "XLVIII."

JERSEY BOYS Becomes Broadway's Fourteenth Longest-Running Show

As of the performance tonight, Tuesday, January 14, the Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical JERSEY BOYS will surpass Grease with 3,389 performances, becoming the 14th longest-running show in Broadway history.

Richard H. Blake Joins Cast of Broadway's JERSEY BOYS as 'Tommy DeVito' Tonight

The producers of the Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical JERSEY BOYS have announced that Richard H. Blake (Legally Blonde, Wicked) will join the cast tonight, January 9, 2014 in the role of 'Tommy DeVito.' He assumes the role from Andy Karl who departs the production following the Sunday, December 1st performance. John Gardiner, who played 'Tommy' on the national tour, will perform the role from December 3, 2013 through Wednesday, January 8, 2014.

10 Years of Oz: A WICKED Anniversary Countdown- Fiyero Flashback!

On Wednesday, October 30th, the blockbuster musical, WICKED, will celebrate its 10th Anniversary on Broadway, a milestone achieved by only ten other Broadway productions in history. The creative team and many of the musical's previous cast members will celebrate WICKED's first decade with a special performance, followed by a company party, on October 30th at 7:00pm. BroadwayWorld will be counting down to the milestone with daily flashbacks of Wicked's biggest events, most memorable cast members, and best performances. In today's installment, we remember the actors that have taken on the role of Oz's resident bad boy- Fiyero!

Adrienne Warren, Laura Dreyfuss & More Join TWENTY-SOMETHINGS Concert at The Highline Ballroom, 8/12

Bring It On's Adrienne Warren and Ryann Redmond, Once's Laura Dreyfuss and recording artist Grace Weber will round out the lineup for Twenty-Somethings at The Highline Ballroom on Monday, August 12th at 8PM. The concert will feature up-and-coming songwriters Blake Pfeil, Zoe Sarnak and Drew Overcash performing new music that range from jazz to pop/rock to contemporary musical theatre.

Billy Porter, 2013 Tony Award Winner for Best Actor in a Musical (Kinky Boots) surprised students of Broadway Artists Alliance Summer Intensive Session One with his appearance on July 25th. Porter entertained the students with tales of his experiences. In addition, he participated in a Q&A, answering student's questions and providing advice for young performers. The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) began earlier this week on July 8th and will continue through July 28th. FEATHER: A MUSICAL PORTRAIT to Get New York Premiere at NYMF, 7/9-16

Feather: A Musical Portrait, a new musical fusing art, music and film will have its New York premiere this summer as part of The New York Music Theatre Festival (NYMF), celebrating its 10th Anniversary Season. With a book by Jeremy Culver, music composed by Charleene Clossheyand featuring songs by Nick Everitt & Liesl Karlsson, this story of love and sacrifice will be presented in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Aves.). Directed by Mr. Culver, performances will begin on July 9th and continue through July 16th.
