The Insights & Revelations Performance Series Is Now In Residence At The Emelin Theatre For 2009/2010 Season

The Insights & Revelations Performance Series, is delighted to be in residence at The Emelin Theatre of Mamaroneck for the 2009/2010 season. There, the Series will present a wide range of sneak previews and behind-the-scenes looks at New York City's finest off-Broadway companies, with its signature moderated artist discussion and reception following each performance.

Epic Theatre Ensemble Announces 9th Anniversary Season Of New Works

New York's OBIE Award-winning Epic TheatreEnsemble (Zak Berkman, Melissa Friedman, Ron Russell, Founding Executive Directors) has announced its 9 th Anniversary Season of new works: the world premiere of Mahida's Extra Key To Heaven by Russell Davis, and the New York Premiere of Passion Play by Sarah Ruhl. Also scheduled is Shakespeare Remix MacBeth a collaboration with Epic's unrivaled After School Shakespeare Program at Chelsea High School.

Foxworth Named Old Globe Associate Artist

Executive Producer Lou Spisto is thrilled to announce the addition of Robert Foxworth to the exclusive list of Old Globe Associate Artists. Foxworth is the 52nd artist named to the illustrious group that includes Paxton Whitehead, Marion Ross, A.R. Gurney and Richard Easton.

The Shakespeare Society (Michael Sexton, Artistic Director) has announced that Dances with Shakespeare: A Midsummer Night's Dream, a collaboration with the New York City Ballet (NYCB), will take place on Monday, June 8, at 7:00pm at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College, East 68 Street, between Park and Lexington Avenues.

Shakespeare Society Announces DANCES WITH SHAKESPEARE: A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, 6/8

The Shakespeare Society (Michael Sexton, Artistic Director) has announced that Dances with Shakespeare: A Midsummer Night?s Dream, a collaboration with the New York City Ballet (NYCB), will take place on Monday, June 8, at 7:00pm at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College, East 68 Street, between Park and Lexington Avenues. Harrington, Lawrence, MacKay & More Set For A BATTLE OF WALLS 5/31-6/21

Cause Célèbre, a not-for-profit theater dedicated to causes and charity, proudly announces the launch of Part-Time Productions and its inaugural presentation, A Battle of Wills: Internal and External. There will be free general admission and no reservations are taken.

The February 17 event begins at 6pm with cocktails and dinner onstage at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House followed by an 8pm performance of Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale at the BAM Harvey Theater, directed by Sam Mendes and featuring a star-studded, transatlantic cast including Simon Russell Beale, Sin?ad Cusack, Richard Easton, Rebecca Hall, Josh Hamilton, and Ethan Hawke. The evening concludes with a post-performance dessert reception with the cast onstage at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House. Benefit tickets can be purchased though BAM Patron Services at 718.636.4182.
