Breen, Corman, Dugan Cast In Naked Angels' NEXT FALL 5/26-6/3

New York?s Naked Angels (Geoffrey Nauffts, Artistic Director; Brittany O?Neill, Managing Director) has announced complete casting for its World Premiere production of Geoffrey Nauffts? new play Next Fall (formerly titled TheGospel According To Adam), directed by Sheryl Kaller. American Repertory Theater Announces 2009-10 Season

What better way to celebrate spring than the crack of the bat, the roar of the crowd, and two Little League coaches going head to head in what has to be the only baseball play to include Brigadoon, living in a van, and the fine art of equipment bag stuffing. Baseball buff Don, for whom winning is the only thing, is stuck with assistant coach Michael, who wants trophies for everyone, and whose only youth sport was, uh, well, curling. In Canada. The result is an exploding scoreboard worth of laughs.

Hudson Stage Announces THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS 4/17-5/2

Hudson Stage announces its Spring Mainstage production- the New York premiere of Westchester resident Richard Dresser's quirky, laugh out loud comedy, The Pursuit of Happiness. The show runs April 17th- May 2nd, and asks the timely ethical question: How far would a parent go to get their child into the college of their choice?' This play is about the cost of winning', notes Dresser. Mr. Dresser is a noted playwright whose works have been widely produced in regional theatres, NYC, and Europe. He penned the Off-Broadway hit, Rounding Third and is perhaps best known for the long-running popular TV series, The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd. The production will be directed by Sheryl Kaller, who recently helmed the Christopher Durang musical, Adrift in Macao at Primary Stages in NYC, and NY Stage and Film at Vassar. Included in the cast is Denise Bessette, Hudson Stage co-founder who last appeared with the company in Kimberly Akimbo. Dan Foster and Olivia Sklar are executive producers.

A Contemporary Theater Announces Additions To 45th Season

A Contemporary Theatre announces adjustments and additions to its 45th Anniversary Season. Rounding out the six-play Mainstage season is the corporate comedy Below the Belt (May 22-June 21, previously listed as TBA), starring acclaimed film and television actor Judd Hirsch. In addition, subscribers to ACT receive special entr?e to discounted tickets to the Broadway smash hit, August: Osage County, on tour at The Paramount October 27-November 1.

Matthew Arkin Heads Up George Street's SIGHT UNSEEN 1/20

George Street Playhouse begins 2009 with its production of Donald Marguiles' Sight Unseen. When first presented in 1992, the play won the OBIE Award for Best New American Play, was nominated for a Drama Desk, and was a Pulitzer Prize finalist. George Street Playhouse Artistic Director will helm the production, slated to run at the New Brunswick theatre January2020 - February 15, 2009. Matthew Arkin, last seen at GSP in their production of Theresa Rebeck's The Scene, leads an ensemble including Heidi Armbruster, Christopher Curry and Kathleen McNenny.

Matthew Arkin, Steve Rattazzi and Danton Stone to Star in Men of Clay

The Theatre Outlet presents the world-premiere of MEN OF CLAY, a comedy written and directed by Jeff Cohen (founder of the award-winning Worth Street Theater Company). Matthew Arkin and Obie Award winner Steve Ratazzzi join the previously announced Danton Stone in a cast that also includes Daniel Ahearn, Victor Barbella and Gabrielle Maisels.
