Sony BMI Workshop composers Michael Shapiro & Dave Christensen have announced their New York debut concert at 54 Below.

Composer/lyricist Matt Patrick Walsh presents a brand new rendition of his original 90-minute cabaret series, 'How's This Sound?!' at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre (61 Christopher Street, NYC) on Saturday, February 1st, 9:30 PM.

Atlantic Theater Company's ATC Uncovered is celebrating the 7th anniversary of SPRING AWAKENING on Broadway. The musical began at the Atlantic before transferring to Broadway, and stars Lea Michele, Jonathan Groff, John Gallagher, Jr., Lauren Pritchard, Lilli Cooper, Remy Zaken and more gathered at the theater on December 2nd to talk about thriving in an intimate space, performing a 'formative' project at such an important part of their lives, and what they want to collaborate on next. Xander Green, young musical theatre composer and student of Marsha Norman (The Secret Garden, The Color Purple), Jason Robert Brown (Parade, The Last Five Years) and Grammy-award winning Herschel Garfein, will receive a debut concert for his solo work at the Laurie Beechman Theatre Tues., Dec. 3 at 7:00 pm.

The BMI-Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop will present its autumn Smoker, a semiannual showcase of new songs from Workshop writers, on Thursday, November 21 in BMI's New York office.

Reuniting for the first time since Parade, Brooke Sunny Moriber and Emily Klein will premiere a duet from Love Quirks, whose studio cast recording is now available on iTunes. The audience can expect to hear 24 songs from Bisen-Hersh's catalog featuring material from Love Quirks, More to Love, Stanley's Party, Malka, If Adele Can Do It, So Can I and The Final Frontier... including 3 premieres! Songs will include 'Thanksgiving Day', 'It's Not You, It's Me', 'I'm Not Interested in You', 'I Like Big Girls', 'Dear Facebook', 'It's Not You, It's Me' and 'Can You Believe I Was Ever Sad We Broke Up?'.

'Sing Along,' the short film musical starring an all-Broadway cast, will have a three-day theatrical run in Los Angeles this week. The movie was filmed in New York City in October 2012 and had its East Coast premiere in April of this year.

New composer Trevor Bachman made his Joe's Pub debut on Monday, August 12 in Songs of a Brave Soldier- a musical chronicle of truth. Wielding music as a storytelling force, this evening of rock, soul, and classical styles is a sampling of two original musicals (Pyre Cantata and Coromandel), as well as brand new songs. Bachman is an indie music theatre composer/lyricist with an eclectic sound, fusing tight harmonies, soulful grooves and addictive melodies, creating an emotional theatrical experience. Vassar & New York Stage and Film Powerhouse Theater's second Martel Musical Workshop, A Musical Inspired by the Brooklyn Superhero Supply Company has its first performance tonight, July 26 at 8pm. The 4-performance run continues on Saturday, July 27 at 8pm, and Sunday, July 28 at 2pm and 7pm.

Previously presented in a sold-out weekend at Mr. (William) Finn's Cabaret at Barrington Stage Company, this evening of new, irreverent tunes will showcase the talents of two promising young alumni of the NYU Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program.
