Producers of the upcoming Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman's Pulitzer Prize-winning play You Can't Take It With You announce two-time Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Rose Byrne ('Damages,' Bridesmaids, Neighbors) and Tony Award nominee Annaleigh Ashford (Kinky Boots, Wicked, 'Masters of Sex'), join previously announced Tony Award and Outer Critics' Circle winner James Earl Jones (Gore Vidal's The Best Man, Fences, The Great White Hope) and Tony Award nominee Kristine Nielsen (Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike) in the show. Byrne, who is making her Broadway debut, will be playing Alice Sycamore and Ashford will play her sister, Essie Sycamore.

DTF opens its 39th Summer Season New Play Reading series with a new play by local favorite Theresa Rebeck. The play, Zealot, is a finalist for the Susan Blackburn Prize and is set at the British consulate in Mecca, where a tactical tea is interrupted by news of nearby violence. When a witness seeks asylum, a diplomatic battle of wits ensues, while a life hangs in the balance. The reading will star renowned actress Alfre Woodard and will be directed by award winning director John Doyle.

Heartbreak House, one of Shaw most admired of curious comedies, is packed full of extraordinary roles. Each member of the cast gets to take a bite out of this rarely produced and provocative piece. Set just before WWI, the action of the play takes place in and around the Shotover home, built like a ship on top of a hill on the English countryside. In the course of the play, everyone learns to face the future, however tumultuous it may be.

The Acting Company will present a benefit staged reading of Murderers, a new play by Jeffrey Hatcher (Never Gonna Dance, Tuesdays with Morrie) at 7 pm on Monday, February 24 at the Mainstage Theater (Playwrights Horizons), 416 West 42nd Street (9th-10thAvenues). The performance-starring Acting Company Alumna and Tony-winner Harriet Harris (Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, Encores!Little Me), Marylouise Burke (TV's Alpha House) and Reg Rogers (The Big Knife)-will be followed by a reception with the cast and director, Ian Belknap, Artistic Director of The Acting Company. A memorial to celebrate the life and career of actor Christopher Evan Welch will take place on Monday, February 17 on the Irene Diamond Stage of The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 W. 42nd Street). The event is open to the public and will begin at 3:00 with doors opening at 2:30PM. Mr. Welch died Monday, December 2 in Santa Monica, California from complications related to cancer. He was 48.

Now, nearly 60 years later, this sparkling entertainment returns in concert form performed by an all-Yale cast, orchestra, and production team. Combining forces will be Alumni singers, actors, instrumentalists, directors, conductors, and designers who are Broadway professionals, alongside Yale students, faculty, and staff. All are giving their time and talent to bring My Fair Lady back to New Haven.
