China's No. 1 film awards show will take place in Hollywood for the first time with leading talent accepting accolades based on the votes of 80 million fans. Halle Berry, Guillermo del Toro, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Zoe Saldana, Jeremy Renner, Charlie Hunnam and Hans Zimmer will accept key honors for their work at the Huading Film Awards at The Montalban Theater in Los Angeles on June 1st. This historic event will allow American motion picture artists to directly acknowledge and express thanks to Chinese moviegoers who support their films. Industry legend Don Mischer will produce the event.

International rock icon Yoshiki has announced three new concert dates across Asia to his highly anticipated Yoshiki Classical tour. X Japan's founder and leader will bring his first classical concert tour to Taipei, Taiwan, as well as, Tokyo and Osaka, Japan. The newly added concert dates follow Yoshiki's recently announced Bangkok, Thailand performance. Yoshiki, Asia's foremost rock icon and multi talented music superstar, will embark on the Yoshiki Classical tour at Segerstrom Center for the Arts tonight, April 25 at 8 p.m. in the Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall before setting off across North America, Europe and Asia, culminating in Yoshiki's native Japan.

Prolific film, stage and television actor, director and composer John Rubinstein, a native Angeleno and son of legendary pianist Arthur Rubinstein, appears with Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra (LACO) Music Director and pianist Jeffrey Kahane, LACO principals and special guest pianist Christopher O'Riley to explore personal and musical legacies at Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra's (LACO) WESTSIDE CONNECTIONS chamber music series on Thursday, May 15, 2014, 7:30 pm, at the Moss Theater in Santa Monica. Rubinstein created the role of Bob Fosse's Pippin on Broadway and received a Tony Award for Children of a Lesser God, and O'Riley is a versatile pianist as well as host of the popular NPR radio program "From the Top.' They join LACO Music Director Jeffrey Kahane, Concertmaster Margaret Batjer and Principal Cello Andrew Shulman in a performance that pays homage to the remarkable legacy of both Rubinsteins and features Rachmaninoff's Sonata in G minor (Shulman and Kahane), Chopin's Nocturne in D-flat major Op. 27, No. 2 (Kahane), and Brahms' Piano Trio No. 2 in C major, Op. 87 (Batjer, Shulman and O'Riley).

People's Light & Theatre has announced its 40th Anniversary Season that celebrates the passion and artistry that created and sustained our company. The season includes one world premiere, two regional premieres, and one Philadelphia premiere. Nationally acclaimed artists Mary McDonnell, David Strathairn, and Victor Williams will join longtime company members and various newcomers on our stages. They will perform iconic works by August Wilson, Anton Chekhov, and Neil Simon, new plays by Bruce Graham, Bill Cain, and Jessica Dickey, and our new holiday panto by Pete Pryor and Samantha Bellomo. We will transport audiences to Merlin's Middle Ages, Ranyevskaya's changing Russia, 19th & 21st Century Gettysburg, and Lou's Bar in today's South Philly.

Happy Birthday, Ralph Fiennes! Fiennes' 2006 performance in the play Faith Healer gained him a nomination for a 2007 Tony Award. In 2008, Fiennes worked with frequent collaborator director Jonathan Kent to play the title role in Sophocles's Oedipus the King at The National Theatre in London. He has appeared in films such as The English Patient, In Bruges, The Constant Gardener, Strange Days and Maid in Manhattan. He is also well known for his portrayals of three infamous villains: Nazi war criminal Amon Goth in Schindler's List, serial killer Francis Dolarhyde in the 2002 film Red Dragon, and Lord Voldemort in the Harry Potter film series. Most recently, he appeared in The Reader (2008), The Hurt Locker (2009) and as Hades in Clash of the Titans (2010).
