Director Thom Southerland, who wowed critics and public alike with award-winning, sold out productions of Titanic, Parade and Mack & Mabel, is next directing a radically re-conceived version of Gilbert & Sullivan's best-loved operetta, The Mikado.

The married, song-writing duo Laura and Dan Curtis has had an exciting past year of work, which isn't slowing down anytime soon. Rebecca Caine is most known around town as the lady who created the role of Christine in the Canadian premier of The Phantom of the Opera, and since then she's continued to have incredible success in the musical theatre, and the Opera (Caine had also done a considerable amount of Opera in Britain before coming over to Canada for Phantom.)
WestEndFest is back for its first concert of 2014 on 2 March at The Actors Church in Covent Garden. It was founded two years ago by West-End theatre actress Sabrina Aloueche and Parnell Page, and has since become a hugely popular bi-annual celebration combining dance, comedy, songs and raising money for charity.
Former 'Phantom' actress Rebecca Caine confirmed the news today on Twitter, posting: 'Distraught to tell you that my precious Byron Nease was found dead last night. The bravest man I'll ever know is at peace.'

Members from the current West End casts of long-running hits THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA and LES MISERABLES will convene to join former footballers and some A-list stars at Hayes Lane in Bromley for a special charity soccer game to benefit the Great Ormond Street Hospital.
