Producer Mark Cortale's sixth annual Broadway @ NOCCA series kicks off on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 7:30pm when internationally renowned star of opera and musical theatre, Marisol Montalvo, brings her acclaimed new show MAD SCENE to NOCCA's Lupin Hall! Twenty-one singers transform the 75-minute Renaissance masterpiece - committed to memory and dramatically staged - into both a biblical parable of St. Peter's disavowal of Jesus Christ and a contemporary allegory for our fractious times. Jack Skellington and the residents of Halloween Town pay a visit to Chicago on October 31 and November 1, when Disney in Concert: Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas comes to the Auditorium Theatre. These screenings commemorate the 25th anniversary of Tim Burton's stop-motion masterpiece and feature the Chicago Philharmonic dressed in Halloween attire, performing Danny Elfman's beloved score.
