All for One Theater, known for full-length solo shows seen at stages across America since 2011, is presenting two Off-Broadway productions for their Spring Season. All Over The Map, written and performed by Bill Bowers (directed by Martha Banta) will begin performances Thursday, April 21st and open Wednesday, April 27th for a limited run through Sunday, May 8th. Thao's Library, written and performed by Elizabeth Van Meter (directed by Joe Ricci), will begin performances on Wednesday, April 20th and open Thursday, April 28th for a limited run through Saturday, May 7th. The Play Company (PlayCo), led by Founding Producer Kate Loewald and Executive Producer Lauren Weigel, kicks off its 15th Anniversary season with the U.S. premiere of Abyss, which marks the U.S. debut of the award-winning German playwright Maria Milisavljevic. Abyss, directed by Maria Mileaf, is a poetic thriller centered on the mysterious disappearance of a young woman. The play exemplifies PlayCo's unique commitment to premiering work from around the world to advance a dynamic, international experience of contemporary theater in New York. Abyss is an exploration of what it means to be an outsider. Speaking about the play Milisavljevic says, "making a new home means finding a new kind of honesty. Otherwise the old lies will follow you."
Love is Like Mud will have its World Premiere at The New York International Fringe Festival in August. The rock operetta is written by Ben Folstein who also serves as the director and band leader. Brooklyn based band Level II will provide the music. The production is being produced by Level II Theatre.
