Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts, et al. Set for the '47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards,' 4/1

Entertainer of the Year nominee Blake Shelton, Male Vocalist of the Year nominee Chris Young, reigning New Artist of the Year The Band Perry, two-time Vocal Group of the Year Lady Antebellum and 10-time ACM Award winner Rascal Flatts are scheduled to perform at the 47th ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS, which will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Sunday, April 1 (8:00 PM-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. The ceremony, which honors country music's top talent as well as the industry's hottest emerging artists, will be co-hosted by Shelton alongside Reba.

99.5 WYCD Downtown Hoedown Announces 30th Anniversary Concert for 6/8-10, Ferndale, Detroit

A new concert experience awaits Detroit's country music fans at the 30th annual 99.5 WYCD Downtown Hoedown, presented by Ram Truck Brand, Arby's and Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort. 99.5 WYCD officially announced this year's lineup, led by four-time, 2011 ACM winner, Miranda Lambert, this morning on The All New Dr. Don Morning Show and simultaneously on www.wycd.com. The weekend-long event will move to a new location for the first time in 30 years, the secure, expansive grounds surrounding Comerica Park, and will be held on June 8-10, 2012.

Sara Evans, Tim McGraw et al Join CBS's LIONEL RICHIE & FRIENDS IN CONCERT, 4/13

Country music superstars Luke Bryan, Sara Evans, Tim McGraw and Jennifer Nettles have been added to the all-star lineup of artists scheduled to perform at the ACM PRESENTS: LIONEL RICHIE AND FRIENDS - IN CONCERT. The concert will be taped April 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and will be broadcast Friday, April 13 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Cledus T. Judd of Tampa's WQYK to Appear at Side Splitters Comedy Club, 2/23-26

Cledus T. Judd is an American country music artist well known primarily for his parodies of popular country music songs. He has been called the 'Weird Al' Yankovic' of country music. He has released over 20 music videos, nine studio albums and two EPs, with several of the singles entering Billboard's Hot Country Songs charts.

Master Class with Playwright Tina Howe Highlights Southern Literary Festival at Lipscomb University in March

Pulitzer Prize-nominated playwright Tina Howe (her Painting Churches was a 1984 finalist for the prize and Pride's Crossing was a Pulitzer finalist in 1997), and Mark Richard, the author of the best-selling House of Prayer No. 2, will be among the special guests at this year's Southern Literary Festival, held March 29-31 on the Lipscomb University campus in Nashville.

The winners will be announced live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 1 (8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Taylor Swift Honored with Symphony Ball Harmony Award

Taylor Swift will receive the 2011 Harmony Award, Symphony Ball Chairs Mrs. Steven Eskind (Laurie) and Mrs. Bennett Frederick Horne Jr. (Vicki) announced today. The four-time GRAMMY® winner, reigning Billboard Top 200 Albums Artist and Academy of Country Music and Entertainment Weekly Entertainer of the Year will be presented the award at the 27th annual Symphony Ball on Saturday, December 10, 2011, at Schermerhorn Symphony Center.

Kristin Chenoweth & Trace Adkins to Host AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS Tonight

Multi-platinum recording artist Trace Adkins will reprise his role alongside Emmy and Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth as hosts of the second annual AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS, airing live from Las Vegas Monday, Dec. 5 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.

The special, which is hosted for the second time by Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland, airs THURSDAY, DECEMBER 1 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. (This program will repeat Saturday, December 17 from 9:00-11:00 p.m., ET).

Taylor Swift Wins 'Entertainer of the Year Award' - CMA Recap

It was a night of new victors and returning champions at 'The 45th Annual CMA Awards' Wednesday night in Nashville. Taylor Swift won her second CMA Entertainer of the Year trophy. Newlyweds Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton won Female Vocalist and Male Vocalist for the second consecutive year. Bedingfield, Chesney to Perform on ABC's CMA Awards, 11/9

The lineup for 'The 45th Annual CMA Awards' continues to grow with today's announcement that Natasha Bedingfield and Grace Potter will make their debuts on 'Country Music's Biggest NightTM.' Bedingfield will team with Rascal Flatts to perform their current single, 'Easy,' while Potter will join fellow nominee and four-time CMA Entertainer of the Year Kenny Chesney on their hit song, 'You and Tequila.'
