Fourteen-time GRAMMY Award-winner Ricky Skaggs' career is easily among the most significant in recent country music history. His life's path has taken him to various musical genres, from where it all began in bluegrass music, to striking out on new musical journeys, while still leaving his musical roots intact.

Kristin Chenoweth Brings in 2011 With a Bang @ Disney Pavilion

Renowned actress/singer Kristin Chenoweth upheld her 'Popular' -ity on New Year's Eve @ the Walt Disney Pavilion by giving her audiences, who regail her for TV's The West Wing, Pushing Daisies and Glee, what they want most: namely, a large dose and a half of her glowing charisma. The petite and pretty talent has a gorgeous soprano voice which she displayed most effectively and a great sense of comedic humor which was also put to good use throughout the varied 90-minute set.

Review: Touring Legendary Duets

What a glorious evening of song and mirth is to be had in the company of supertalents Wayland Pickard and Deborah Johnson in Legendary Duets! Facing each other at dueling pianos, Pickard and Johnson play, cavort and sing. As one gets up to solo, the other assists with background accompaniment. Pickard is most definitely the comic and Johnson is straight-man. Behind is a screen with projections of the singing artists in question. And there is a variety of music explored: rock from the 50s, 60s and 70s, country, the classics, Hollywood film tunes and Broadway pop.
