JULIUS CAESAR to Begin 3/22 at A Noise Within

A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, continues its 2014-2015 REVOLUTIONary season with two new productions: William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar March 22 to May 8 (press opening March 28) and The Threepenny Opera, Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill's groundbreaking theatrical work in Michael Feingold's translation now through May 17.

A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, continues its 2014-2015 REVOLUTIONary season with two new productions: The Threepenny Opera, Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill's groundbreaking theatrical work in Michael Feingold's translation, now through May 9 (press opening February 21) and William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, March 22 to May 8 (press opening March 28). While both plays spoke to the times in which they were first produced - Weimar Germany and Elizabethan England, respectively-they also speak to this season's theme of REVOLUTION, most especially from a socio-political point of view. A Noise Within Continues its Season with THE THREEPENNY OPERA and JULIUS CAESAR

A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, continues its 2014-2015 REVOLUTIONary season with two new productions: The Threepenny Opera, Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill's groundbreaking theatrical work in Michael Feingold's translation February 15 through May 9 (press opening February 21) and William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar March 22 to May 8 (press opening March 28). While both plays spoke to the times in which they were first produced - Weimar Germany and Elizabethan England, respectively-they also speak to this season's theme of REVOLUTION, most especially from a socio-political point of view.

This time-honored tale of forgiveness opens on Friday, December 5 and closes on Tuesday, December 23, 2014. This is the third consecutive year that ANW has presented the timeless holiday classic.

Opening weekend for the fully double-cast production runs today, June 19 -22 at the Antaeus Theater in NoHo.

A Noise Within to Present Free Readings of UNCLE VANYA, HEROES & THE LADY'S NOT FOR BURNING this Summer

A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, presents FREE readings of Chekhov's classic comedy Uncle Vanya, directed by Joel Swetow, on Wednesday, June 25 at 7pm; Heroes by Gerald Sibleyras, translation by Tom Stoppard, directed by Susan Angelo, on Wednesday, July 23 at 7pm; and The Lady's Not For Burning by Christopher Fry, directed by William Dennis Hunt, on Monday, August 4 at 7pm.

A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company concludes its 2013-14 season with Tartuffe by Moliere, closing Saturday, May 24, 2014. Julia Rodriguez-Elliott directs Tartuffe in a translation by Richard Wilbur. The world's most famous scoundrel Tartuffe is comic genius in Moliere's tale of naivete, religious hypocrisy, and the triumphant victory of good over evil - and all in rhyming couplets!

A Noise Within to Host ANTIGONE Reading, 1/20

A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, presents a free reading of Jean Anouilh's Antigone. A Noise Within Presents A CHRISTMAS CAROL, 12/7-22

A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, continues their family holiday tradition by presenting its production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, the ultimate tale of forgiveness, opening Saturday, December 7 and closing Sunday, December 22, 2013. This is the second year that ANW has presented the timeless holiday classic, once again accompanied by a special fundraiser event, "Fezziwig's Festive Holiday Tea" on December 8, which directly supports Classics Live! - ANW's education programs. The event will feature a live auction hosted by NBC4's Fritz Coleman.

A Noise Within Announces TOBACCO ROAD Reading, 1/8

A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, offers a free, one-night-only reading of JACK KIRKLAND's powerful drama TOBACCO ROAD on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, 7 pm, in its new state-of-the-art Pasadena theatre. Directed by Apollo Dukakis and featuring A Noise Within resident artists, this Depression-Era Broadway blockbuster, which exposes the South's social and racial injustices with biting satirical humor, portrays an ignorant, dysfunctional and hardscrabble family of Georgia sharecroppers whose spirits are as depleted as the soil in which they toil. Family patriarch Jeeter Lester and his clan are caught up in the excesses of evangelism and the dark side of lust as they strive just to survive the devastation of poverty. Tobacco Road, based on the novel by Erskine Caldwell, holds the record as the second longest running non-musical in Broadway history.

A Noise Within, the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, continues its 2012-13 season in its state-of-the-art Pasadena home with The Doctor's Dilemma, a rarely performed comic and incisive indictment of both the medical profession and the artistic sensibility by George Bernard Shaw. Directed by Damaso Rodriguez, the show runs from tonight, October 20 through Sunday, November 25 with previews beginning on Saturday, October 13. There will be a 'Pay What You Can" performance on Thursday, October 18.
