Yesterday, June 28, the stars of CATCH ME IF YOU CAN celebrated their cast album release at Barnes & Noble with an in-store performance and CD signing. The cast album is out under Ghostlight Records.
Cast members from CATCH ME IF YOU CAN including Aaron Tveit, Norbert Leo Butz, Tom Wopat, and Kerry Butler will make an appearance at the Upper East Side Barnes and Noble for a performance and CD signing on June 28. The events will begin at 4:00pm on the event stage (86th/Lex).

CATCH ME IF YOU CAN captures the astonishing true story of Frank Abagnale, Jr., a world-class con artist who passed himself off as a doctor, a lawyer, and a jet pilot-all before the age of 21. With straight-arrow FBI agent Carl Hanratty on Frank's trail, we're off on a jet-setting, cat-and-mouse chase, as a jazzy, swinging-sixties score keeps this adventure in constant motion. In the end, Agent Hanratty learns he and Frank aren't so very different after all, and Frank finds out what happens when love catches up to a man on the run. BroadwayWorld has learned that today, May 20, Ars Nova is hosting a private industry reading of Nick Blaemire's When the World Ends, a new musical for which he wrote the book, music and lyrics. Blaemire is best known for penning Broadway's Glory Days and performing in Cry Baby on Broadway. The reading is being directed by John Simpkins and musical directed by Jesse Vargas, who also did the arrangements.
On Thursday, May 19, and Thursday, June 2 audience members at the new , Tony Award Nominated Broadway musical CATCH ME IF YOU CAN will get the chance to hear first-hand from the real Frank W. Abagnale Jr. (played on stage by Aaron Tveit), whose teenage escapades are the basis for the musical and the 2002 film of the same name. Immediately following the 8pm performance, Mr. Abagnale will host an on stage post-show talk back and Q&A.
