Rachel York Works Magic...The Magic Castle, that Is!

I first saw Rachel York onstage in Kiss Me Kate and was astounded by her fierce acting style. She devoured the role of Kate and was consistently mesmerizing. I also saw her on DVD in a live tape performance of Victor/Victoria and was equally taken by her dazzling presence and comedic flair.

Lake Tahoe's BROADWAY NIGHT Concert Returns With Classic Hits 7/23-8/8

The Lake Tahoe Music Festival's unforgettable 'Broadway Night' concert is back for another year, this season drawing from the vast catalog of songs from Broadway legends Rodgers and Hammerstein. Selections from the duo's stage hits, which include 'The Sound of Music,' 'Kiss Me, Kate' and 'Oklahoma!,' are brought to life by Broadway stars Rachel York and Sal Viviano backed by the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra.

Rachel York Adds Dates To Symphony Concert Schedule Through 7/20

Broadway leading lady Rachel York, most recently seen in the world premiere musical Turn of the Century at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, has added several new engagements to her symphony concert schedule. Now through July, the versatile stage, screen, and recording artist will be a guest soloist performing the works of Bernstein, Sondheim, Gershwin, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Andrew Lloyd Webber and more with major orchestras across the country.

VANITIES Opens July 16 at Second Stage Theatre

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director; Ellen Richard, Executive Director) will conclude its 30th Anniversary mainstage season with the New York premiere of VANITIES, a new musical written by Jack Heifner, featuring music and lyrics by David Kirshenbaum, directed by Judith Ivey. With musical staging by Dan Knechtges, VANITIES will feature Lauren Kennedy, Sarah Stiles, and Anneliese van der Pol and will begin preview performances on Thursday, July 2. Opening night is Thursday, July 16 at 6:30pm
