MARYLAND ENSEMBLE THEATRE (MET) presents 'Materialize, a thought-provoking, world premiere devised puppet production created by MET Ensemble Member Vanessa Strickland. 'Materialize' delves into the idea of social identity and examines the masks we as individuals wear on a daily basis. What masks do you wear? Do you feel at home in your skin or do others affect how you feel about yourself? 'Materialize' is an original piece presented as a collection of scenes told through puppetry. Inspired by and created from real-life stories, 'Materialize' explores how we grapple with identity, invisibility, objectification, dehumanization, and realization. Let your mask slide... you might see your true self appear.

'Loose Chicks' will be at Emerald City Coffee & Cafe, 3938 N Sheridan Ave, in October! Roberta Miles and Jillian Erickson, the "Loose Chicks" will be starring in and presenting an hour long performance based on their experiences through life. Guest Rachel Smith, Amanda Rountree, and Lily Be will be featured this month. This juicy, gutsy, ballsy, cutting edge look at life through the eyes of femme fatales will be presented at Emerald City Coffee & Cafe. The performance is Friday, October 25th @ 8pm.
