Freestyle Digital Media LLC (FDM) has acquired all rights North America (excluding US theatrical) for director Margaret Whitton's colorful romantic comedy A BIRD OF THE AIR from Tashtego Films LLC. Based on Joe Coomer's acclaimed novel The Loop, the film stars Jackson Hurst ("Drop Dead Diva") and Rachel Nichols ("Conan the Barbarian"), and is from an adaptation by screenwriter Roger Towne. Produced by Steven Tabakin and Margaret Whitton, and executive produced by Warren Spector, the film will debut on April 10, 2012. A BIRD OF THE AIR was theatrically released in the USA by Paladin in the fall of 2011.

Warner Bros. Records will release the original score to Lionsgate®'s feature film Conan The Barbarian on August 16th, three days before the film hits theaters nationwide on August 19th.
The Public Theater began previews on Monday, June 6 for the 2011 Shakespeare in the Park summer season featuring MEASURE FOR MEASURE, directed by David Esbjornson, and ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL, directed by Daniel Sullivan. The two shows will run in repertory with the same company of actors through Saturday, July 30 at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. According to published reports, Nu Image/Millennium Films has announced the cast for the upcoming film 'Conan.' Broadway actor and playwright Stephen Lang will join the cast along with Rose McGowan, Rachel Nichols, Ron Perlman, Said taghmaoui , Leo Howard, and Jason Momoa who will star as Conan.
