Czechoslovak-American Marionette Theater will perform 'Twelfth Night (or What You Will),' the timeless Shakespearean tale of mistaken identity and misplaced matrimony, November 12 to 29, 2009 as part of La MaMa Puppet Series 3. This three-tea-tray production, adapted and directed by Vít Horejš, will feature 16 eight-inch toy marionettes and three (more or less) live performers.

Theater for the New City, 155 First Avenue will present the work March 4 to 21, 2010. It will feature regulars of Czechoslovak American Marionette Theatre and guest artists.

Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts celebrates the 12th Anniversary of the Millennium Stage on January 31, 2009 with 'Broadway Today'-a star-studded, free concert, produced by Michael A. Kerker and presented in cooperation with ASCAP, in the Opera House as a part of the Center's season-long artistic initiative Broadway: The Third Generation. With the composers at the piano, original cast members and Broadway stars perform signature songs that made these artists household names. Free tickets are required. Tickets will be given away one (1) per person in line in front of the Opera House beginning at 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2009.
Erin Davie, who co-starred in Broadway's Grey Gardens, will host the January 26 Monday Nights, New Voices' concert at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre. The 7pm concert will celebrate the work of composer and lyricist team Joshua Salzman and Ryan Cunningham. Those scheduled to perform are Wade Dooley, Wade Elkins, Jennifer Lorae, John Pinto, Isabel Santiago and Ali Stroker.

Deane Little Theater of the West Side Y, located on West 64th St. just West of Central Park West, Manhattan. The production features modernist marionettes and those from the Czech Puppetry repertoire and is recommended for family audiences.
