A father and son pairing started this week in The Woman In Black, one of the most exciting, gripping and successful theatre events ever performed, now in its 26th year in the West End in a production revisited by original director Robin Herford.

The McKittrick Hotel (542 West 27th Street), home of the immersive theater spectacle Sleep No More, announces a summertime rooftop film series curated by film and television icon/comedienne Amy Poehler beginning on July 14, 2015 and continuing throughout the summer and early fall atop The McKittrick, the one-stop nightlife destination in Chelsea. 

The Old Globe presents William Shakespeare's delightful and romantic Twelfth Night, directed by Rebecca Taichman, whose production of the time-traveling Time and the Conways fascinated audiences last April, as part of the 2015 Summer Shakespeare Festival. The Old Globe engagement runs through July 26, 2015, with opening night tonight, June 27 at 8:00 p.m., in the Lowell Davies Festival Theatre.

A 'Potions and Planting Tea Party' will be hosted at Gallow Green in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City. This fun event for children ages 6 to 11 will be held on 7/11, 7/18, 8/1 and 9/12.

Final casting has been set for the 2015 Planet Connections Theatre Festivity's Playwrights For A Cause, set to take place at 7:30pm on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at New York Theatre Workshop, 79 East 4th Street, on Sunday, June 14 at 7:30 pm. The evening, which will benefit the non-profit National Coalition Against Censorship, will showcase world premiere one-act plays by three acclaimed playwrights: Israel Horovitz's Breaking Phillip Glass and Erik Ehn's Her Speech, both directed by Planet Connections Theatre Festivity founder and PFAC Producing Artistic Curator Glory Kadigan, and Halley Feiffer's A Play About New Mexico, directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch.

US based dancer and choreographer Luke Murphy will premiere his exciting new work 'Your Own Man/Mad Notions' at the Performance Project at University Settlement for four performances June 26th 7pm and 9:30pm and June 27th at 3pm and 7pm . Beneath the Streets: Lost and Found is an immersive theatrical experience in which the audience is invited to roam through the space encountering characters and uncovering a story as the action unfolds all around them. The performance uncovers a hidden world of lost items from keys and glasses to love and loved ones.

Juma Sharkah and Laura Elsworthy will play Lily and Josie respectively in The Skriker at Manchester International Festival. The production will run at Royal Exchange Theatre from 4 July. The ensemble cast will include Sarah Amankwah, Harry Attwell, Alex Austin, Hannah Hutch, Martins Imhangbe, Kate Jackson, Stuart Overington, Beatrice Scirocchi, Andrew Sheridan, Jessica Walker, Leah Walker and Owen Whitelaw. As previously announced, Maxine Peake will play the eponymous role.

The Old Globe presents George Bernard Shaw's Arms and the Man, helmed by celebrated director Jessica Stone, who recently made her Globe debut with Christopher Durang's Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike.

Dead End Express follows five rugged adventurers as they live and breathe the high-stakes life of hauling critical cargo into treacherous tracts of wilderness. Produced for National Geographic Channel by Original Media, a subsidiary of Endemol Shine North America, and Punchdrunk, the new series premieres tonight, May 7, at 10/9c.

The Theatre School at DePaul University will host the One Theatre World 2015 national conference, today, May 7 through May 9, 2015, produced by Theatre for Young Audiences/USA (TYA/USA). TYA/USA is a national service organization whose mission is to promote the power of professional theatre for young audiences through excellence, collaboration, and innovation across cultural and internal boundaries.

Cassidy Stirtz will return to her Nebraska roots and perform the role of Ex-Girlfriend as ONCE the musical takes the stage at Omaha's Orpheum Theater May 12-17.
