Taproot Theatre Company presents Mitch Albom's Tuesdays with Morrie by Jeffrey Hatcher and Mitch Albom this spring. Based on the best-selling autobiographical book by Mitch Albom, Tuesdays with Morrie invites you to pull up a chair and join Mitch and his beloved, vibrant but terminally-ill professor, Morrie, for some of the greatest lessons life can offer. When you lose your way, sometimes you find it again in the most unexpected places. Tuesdays with Morrie, directed by Karen Lund, opens on March 27 and runs through April 25, with low-price previews on March 25 & 26, plus a pay-what-you-can performance on April 1.

The end of summer marks the close of the classical repertory season at The Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum. However, the Botanicum continues its theatrical exploration by supporting new artistic voices through its ongoing development series for playwrights, 'Botanicum Seedlings.' The program's fall playreadings are Brett Webster's Lost and Found in the Underground on Sunday, November 2 and Nude and Sunflower by Reba Waters Thomas on Sunday, November 9. Primary Stages (Casey Childs, Executive Producer; Andrew Leynse, Artistic Director; Elliot Fox, Managing Director), in association with Martin Hummel, present the New York premiere of the new comedy, Love Child, written and performed by Daniel Jenkins (Mary Poppins, Big River) and Robert Stanton (The Coast of Utopia, All in the Timing), as an added event of the 2008-2009 season. Under the direction of Carl Forsman, performances are set to begin Sunday evening, October 12, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. and will run in repertory with A Body of Water by Lee Blessing for a limited engagement through November 19, 2008.
