The Nora Theatre Company presents Bryony Lavery's Her Aching Heart. The production includes original music composed for this production by Veronica Barron. The piece will be the Boston directorial debut for Lee Mikeska Gardner who was appointed Artistic Director of The Nora Theatre Company in November 2013 following a national search.

This season's line-up includes the U.S. Premiere of Howard Barker's Gertrude: The Cry, directed by PTP's Co-Artistic Director Richard Romagnoli, and a revival of David Edgar's Pentecost, directed by PTP's Co-Artistic Director Cheryl Faraone. Directed by Jim Petosa, ON THE VERGE performs in the Charles Mosesian Theater at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, 321 Arsenal Street, in Watertown, MA. Olney Theatre Center proudly announces the return of legendary star of stage and screen Sir Ian McKellen, making his musical comedy debut in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying as the "Book Voice", narrating the action in the Tony-winning musical. Former Artistic Director Jim Petosa, who produced McKellen's first appearance at Olney, has signed on to voice the show's "TV Announcer". How to Succeed is known for having voiceover parts often recorded by recognizable voices including broadcast journalists Walter Cronkite (1995 Broadway revival) and Anderson Cooper (2011 Broadway revival).

Tony Award nominated actress Jan Maxwell will guest star in the new musical comedy LESBIAN LOVE OCTAGON at The Kraine Theater (85 East 4th Street) tonight, June 7th. Ms. Maxwell is most known for her roles in Follies (Tony and Drama Desk nominations), The Royal Family (Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Play), Lend Me a Tenor (Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Play), and Scenes from an Execution with the Potomac Theatre Project (Drama Desk nomination; New York Innovative Theatre Award).
