Geva Theatre Center's 2010/11 Season continues with Broadway and recording star Maureen McGovern in a new production.

Arden Theatre Company continues its 2010/11 season with Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht's The Threepenny Opera. The Arden's version of The Threepenny Opera was originally performed at London's Donmar Warehouse, which has a recent track-record of successful transfers to U.S. stages including Red and Frost/Nixon. 'These newly translated lyrics are the most true to Brecht's original version, highlighting the imagery and poetry of the songs,' says Terrence J. Nolen, the Arden's producing artistic director who will helm The Threepenny Opera. 'While the lyrics engage the audience, asking them to think, the score is certainly one of the most beautiful and complex in 20th century musical theatre.'

ABBA's Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, the songwriters of the musicals 'Chess' and 'Mamma Mia!', are presenting, for one night only, the UK premiere of the concert version of their epic musical 'KRISTINA' at the Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday 14 April.

This classic show tells the story of what happens when the banks get richer and the poor get poorer. The musical incorporates the tale of the doomed love affair of Mac Heath, London's reining thief, and Polly Peachum, the deceptively sweet daughter of a successful businessman who specializes in human misery and controls the city's beggars. Based loosely on John Gay's much earlier Beggars' Opera, it is filled with betrayals, schemes, revenge, reversals of fortune, and Weill's famously dissonant score.

In celebration of Black History Month, Arts>World Financial Center and New York Opera Society (NYOS) will co- present two free concerts showcasing the music of George Gershwin and Scott Joplin, featuring renowned soprano Christina Clark and baritone Kenneth Overton. The concert will take place Friday, February 5.
