The Barn Players Kids presented Disney's Cinderella Kids at the Barn Players Theater located in Mission, Kan. June 17 through June 19. Mack David, Al Hoffman and Jerry Livingston wrote the music and lyrics and Marcy Heisler adapted the book and wrote additional lyrics. Based on a screenplay by Ken Anderson and Homer Brightman, Diane Bulan directed and choreographed the Barn Players Kids production.

When the A-lister makes a rare appearance one day, the comedy launches into an outrageous look at fame and the price that accompanies it. Buyer & Cellar will run from June 20-29, 2014, at STC's Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW).

After an outpouring of concern that its plans to transmit John Adams's opera The Death of Klinghoffer might be used to fan global anti-Semitism, the Metropolitan Opera announced the decision today to cancel its Live in HD transmission, scheduled for November 15, 2014.
