Amphibian Stage Productions opens its third main stage production of the 2014 season, The Nosemaker's Apprentice: Chronicles of a Medieval Plastic Surgeon by Nick Jones and Rachel Shukert, July 10, kicking off a five-week run of the play. Jay Duffer, John Forkner, Alexandra Lawrence, Brandon Murphy and Scott Zenreich star in this infectious comedy running Thursday, July 10 through Sunday, August 10 at the Berlene T. and Jarrell R. Amphibian Stage Productions today announced casting for its third main stage production of the 2014 season, The Nosemaker's Apprentice: Chronicles of a Medieval Plastic Surgeon. Jay Duffer, John Forkner, Alexandra Lawrence, Brandon Murphy and Scott Zenreich will star in this comedy, running Thursday, July 10 through Sunday, August 10 at Amphibian's Berlene T. & Jarrell R. Milburn Theatre at 120 S. Main Street. David A. Miller will direct the production.

Directed by Ilana Becker, (Argument Sessions, Dixon Place; Waiting for Lefty, Hartley House), Stilled Features Mike Mergo and Aaron Novak (The Island of Dr. Moreau, Edinburgh Fringe Festival) as Manni and Jeff, Lighting Design by Daniel Winters (Mayday Mayday, St. Anns Warehouse; Drama Desk Nominee for The Man Who Laughs, Stolen Chair Theater Co.), Set Design by Colin McGurk, Sound Design by Toby Jaguar, and Costume Design by Sarah Bertolozzi.
To celebrate and give local audiences a peek at the enormous creative beehive that is Edinburgh Fringe, Piper is pleased to take part in 59E59's Edinburgh Festival Fringe Preview: East to Edinburgh, with three performances of The Island of Dr. Moreau in Manhattan at 59E59's Theatre C on July 10, 13 and 14. These will be the only New York previews of Moreau before its August 11-25th residency in Edinburgh.
