The critically acclaimed, record-breaking, cult-sensation PigPen Theatre Co. spread holiday cheer by lighting their very own "Un-Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree" and marked the occasion with a brief concert -- including their own original Christmas songs. PigPen will premiere the carol live tonight at 7:30 PM during their "Un-Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting and Concert" at The Gym at Judson (243 Thompson Street, NYC) leading into their performance of The Old Man and the Old Moon, which has been chosen as a Critic's Pick and hailed by The New York Times as "charming and smartly staged…words play second fiddle to the giddy feelings it inspires".

The critically acclaimed troupe PigPen Theatre Co. has announced that they will be giving away free tickets to their new play, The Old Man and the Old Moon, to those displaced from their homes due to the effects of Hurricane Sandy. As soon as power is restored to the production's venue, The Gym at Judson (243 Thompson Street at Washington Square South), the play will resume performances. At each performance, until all tri-state residents are able to safely return to their homes, twenty tickets will be given away to those displaced by the storm.

Coming straight off of its extended run at the New York International Fringe Festival Encore Series, The New Colony's award-winning 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche will be added to the SoHo Playhouse, Inc. Critically acclaimed theater troupe PigPen Theatre Co. celebrates its move to New York City with the October 4 opening of its brand new production, The Old Man and The Old Moon, co-produced by Britt Lafield/BKL Productions and SoHo Playhouse, Inc. at The Gym at Judson (located in the iconic Judson Memorial Church). The only company to win top honors at the New York International Fringe Festival two years in a row (in 2010 for The Nightmare Story and in 2011 for The Mountain Song), PigPen's seven members met as students at Carnegie Mellon University and officially formed the company in 2008.
