The PigPen Theatre Co. bring THE OLD MAN AND THE OLD MOON to the Old Globe thorugh June 18th.

Performances begin this Saturday, May 13 at The Old Globe for the West Coast premiere of The Old Man and The Old Moon by acclaimed theatre troupe PigPen Theatre Co. Directed by PigPen Theatre Co. and Stuart Carden in their Globe debuts, this intriguing and inventive tale full of music and puppetry runs through June 18 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. City Theatre Artistic Director Tracy Brigden has announced the first three plays of the 2017-18 season. The South Side company's 43rd season will kick off with a trio of adventurous Pittsburgh premieres, including The Old Man and The Old Moon by PigPen Theatre Company, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Gynecologic Oncology Unit at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center of New York City by Halley Feiffer,and the world premiere of Citizens Market by Cori Thomas. Also on the schedule is the original Late Nite Catechismas a limited-run City Event. Full season subscriptions are on sale now; three more plays will be announced in April.
