Photo Flash: First Look at ANGELS IN AMERICA at Berkeley Repertory Theatre

Tony Kushner's Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning masterpiece finally arrives at Berkeley Rep in its entirety - directed by artistic director Tony Taccone in his 20th anniversary season! First staged 26 years ago, and originally commissioned by the Eureka Theatre in San Francisco while Taccone was serving as artistic director, this fierce and astounding two-part drama is at once an epic exploration of American politics, gay identity, and mythology, and a personal story of love and loyalty. In today's sociopolitical climate, Kushner's universal message of compassion and inclusion makes Angels in America as timely as ever.

TDF Will Honor Tony Kushner At Its 50th Anniversary Gala

TDF, the not-for-profit organization dedicated to bringing the power of the performing arts to everyone, which is celebrating 50 years of service to audiences and the performing arts community in 2018, has announced it will be honoring Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning playwright TONY KUSHNER at its 50th Anniversary Gala on Monday, June 18 at Manhattan's historic Gotham Hall (1356 Broadway @ 36th Street, NYC). Mr. Kushner's masterwork, Angels in America, is currently receiving its first Broadway revival with the National Theatre production at the Neil Simon Theatre.

Théâtre Français De Toronto Presents LE MENTEUR (The Liar) By Corneille

For the very first time, Theatre francais de Toronto is producing an original production of a Pierre Corneille's Le Menteur (The Liar). This five-act comedy deftly employs a vivid language of rare virtuosity. The play runs at the Berkeley Street Theatre from April 11 to 22, in French with English surtitles.

World Premiere of MAGELLANICA Comes to Artists Rep

Artists Rep presents the World Premiere of Magellanica, by E.M. Lewis, directed by Damaso Rodriguez from January 20 through February 18 on the theatre's Morrison Stage. Magellanica is a five-part epic play written by Oregon playwright E.M. Lewis. This production is made possible through major funding from the Oregon Community Foundation (OCF) Creative Heights Initiative and the Edgerton Foundation New Play Award. Magellanica is a part of Portland's Fertile Ground Festival of New Works.

THE HUMANS Adds Performances at Artists Rep

Artists Rep presents the 2016 Tony Award winner for Best New Play The Humans, by Stephen Karam, directed by D maso Rodr guez from November 19 through December 17 on the theatre's intimate Morrison Stage. Artists Rep is one of the first regional theatres in the nation to produce The Humans featuring a local cast and design team.

Special Events Announced in Conjunction with The Huntington's Production of TARTUFFE

In conjunction with its current production of Tartuffe, Huntington Theatre Company will host several special events and post-show conversations. Admission to onsite post-show events is free with a ticket to Tartuffe, available at huntingtontheatre.org/tartuffe, by phone at 617 266 0800, or in person at the Huntington Avenue Theatre (264 Huntington Avenue) and Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA (527 Tremont Street) box offices.
