Lookingglass Theatre to Present THE LITTLE PRINCE, 12/5-2/2

Continuing its 26th Season, Lookingglass Theatre Company presents The Little Prince, produced in Association with The Actors Gymnasium, by Rick Cummins and John Scoullar, based on the book by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, and directed by Ensemble Member David Catlin. The Little Prince runs December 5, 2013 - February 2, 2014 at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson. The Press Opening is Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 7:30 p.m.

Frist Center to Offer Free Admission for Military Vets, 11/11

In recognition of the service, commitment and dedication of the American military community, the Frist Center for the Visual Arts will offer free admission for active-duty, retired, Reserve and National Guard Service members and their families on Veterans Day 2013. Visitors need only to identify themselves to any member of the Visitor Services staff as veterans or service members to gain free admission on November 11, 2013.

The Frist Offers Free Admission Todays with Donations of Food to Second Harvest, Beg. Today

Beginning today, October 28, the Frist Center for the Visual Arts will continue its holiday tradition of offering free admission to guests bringing non-perishable food items to donate to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee on Mondays through December 30. The items most needed by Second Harvest are peanut butter, canned meat, canned vegetables, canned fruit, pasta and cereal. 'We anticipate an increase in demand for the next several months due to cuts to Food Stamp distributions,' said Jaynee Day, president and CEO of Second Harvest. 'Food donations will help us respond to the need and ensure that families can put food on the table every night.'

TWELFTH NIGHT Star Stephen Fry to Guest on THE COLBERT REPORT, 10/24

Stephen Fry, who is making his Broadway acting debut as Malvolio in the critically acclaimed Shakespeare's Globe production of TWELFTH NIGHT, will be a guest on 'The Colbert Report' on Thursday, October 24. 'The Colbert Report' airs at 11:30 PM ET on Comedy Central, 10:30 PM Central.

Partial Comfort Productions (Drama Desk nominee A Bright New Boise) continues its acclaimed World Premiere of AND MILES TO GO by Chad Beckim. Directed by Hal Brooks (Pulitzer Prize finalist Thom Pain), performances run through November 2 at The Wild Project.

Long Wharf Theatre, in association with Hartford Stage, presents The Underpants by Steve Martin, adapted from the play by Carl Sternheim, directed by Artistic Director Gordon Edelstein. The play will take place now through November 10, 2013 at The Claire Tow Stage in the C. Newton Schenck III Theatre before moving to Hartford Stage January 9 through February 9, 2014.
