The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park will close the world premiere of THE HISTORY OF INVULNERABILITY by David Bar Katz on May 2nd.

Tongue in Cheek Theater Productions (Jake Lipman, Artistic Director and Producer) announced its spring 2010 production of Proof by David Auburn. Kristen Kentner directs this production of Proof, which garnered the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award for Best Play in 2001. Proof marks Tongue in Cheek Theater's ninth production.

From Thursday, October 7 through Sunday, October 10, the City of Newark and New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) will host the largest poetry event in North America, the 2010 Geraldine R. Dodge Poetry Festival.

Autumn Hurlbert, Lori Prince, and Michael Puzzo are set to star in Killing Women, by Marisa Wegrzyn and presented by kef productions. The production runs at the Beckett Theatre May 13- June 5 and will be directed by Adam Fitzgerald. Additional casting is yet to be announced.

Shakespeare on the Sound, Connecticut's premier outdoor summer theater company presenting free Shakespeare in the park, has found its ‘Othello' and ‘Iago.' It was announced today that Victor Williams will play the title role and Jesse J. Perez will play ‘Iago' in Othello, under the direction of Joanna Settle this summer.

The West Side YMCA Writer's Voice today announced that actor Austin Pendleton (HBO's Oz, voice of Gurgle in Finding Nemo, The Diary of Anne Frank, Grand Hotel, Goodtime Charley, The Little Foxes, Fiddler on the Roof, and Up from Paradise) will play the lead role in a staged reading of Charlie Schulman's latest play: The Great Man.
