Irving Berlin's WHITE CHRISTMAS Opens at Lakewood Theatre, Dec 12

Lakewood Theatre Company continues its 60th season with a reprise production of last year's holiday hit, Irving Berlin's White Christmas. With stage direction by Dan Murphy and musical direction by Eric Little, the show features the song and dance talents of Thomas Lindsley, Tommy Stefanek, Leah Yorkston and Lindsay Michelet.

Kennedy Center Opera House Opens WHITE CHRISTMAS, 12/11

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presents a stage adaptation of the beloved classic film, Irving Berlin's White Christmas in the Kennedy Center Opera House. Bring your loved ones for a heart-warming celebration of Americana from December 11, 2012 to January 6, 2013. The press opening is Thursday, December 13 at 7:30 p.m.

Tony Yazbeck Replaces Sean Palmer in Drury Lane Theatre's SINGIN' IN THE RAIN

Kyle DeSantis, Executive Producer of Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane, announced today that Broadway actor Tony Yazbeck will take over the role of "Don Lockwood" in SINGIN' IN THE RAIN, replacing Sean Palmer who suffered an injury. The production, which is currently in previews, will now have its press opening on Friday, Nov. 30 at 8:30pm. Yazbeck will go into the production on Wednesday, November 21.

2012 Equity Jeff Award Nominations Announced

The Jeff Awards Committee announced 197 nominations in 34 categories for Chicago Equity theatrical productions, which opened between August 1, 2011, and July 31, 2012. The Jeff Awards judges attended opening nights of 118 Equity productions offered by 55 producing organizations. From these openings, 96 productions were 'Jeff Recommended,' which made them eligible for award nominations.

CENTERSTAGE and Westport Country Playhouse Announce INTO THE WOODS Team

CENTERSTAGE and Westport Country Playhouse announced today casting for their co-production of Into the Woods, and Broadway fans will be excited to hear that the original Little Red Riding Hood, Danielle Ferland, is making her way back Into the Woods. The production is set to run March 7-April 15 at CENTERSTAGE before moving to Westport Country Playhouse in May. Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's beloved fairy tale musical will be directed by Westport Country Playhouse's Artistic Director Mark Lamos.
