The collaborative, cross-cast company is announced for the Royal Shakespeare Company's (RSC) productions of As You Like It, The Taming of the Shrew and Measure for Measure, playing in a newly reconfigured Royal Shakespeare Theatre next summer. All three productions will then tour in repertoire for the first time to six regional theatres in 2019 and 2020. The actors will each appear in two of the three plays performed as part of the Summer 2019 repertoire. Design for all three productions is by Stephen Brimson Lewis, Director of Design for the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Music Director Jaap van Zweden will conduct the New York Philharmonic in Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 2, with Yefim Bronfman as soloist, and Rachmaninoff's Symphony No. 2, Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, January 18 at 11:00 a.m.; Saturday, January 19 at 8:00 p.m.; and Tuesday, January 22 at 7:30 p.m.

The Writers' Guild of Great Britain (WGGB) has announced the shortlist for its annual awards, to be presented by writer and actor Joanna Scanlan (The Thick of It, Getting On, Puppy Love) on Monday 14 January 2019 at the Royal College of Physicians in central London, in a special ceremony to mark the union's 60th anniversary.

The Tony Award-winning Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical runs live on stage at the Barrette Center for the Arts in White River Junction, VT November 14 - January 1. Starz, a Lionsgate company (NYSE: LGF.A, LGF.B), announced today that the network has acquired the eight-episode drama series 'Dublin Murders,' from Fremantle. The series is adapted from Tana French's first two novels in the Dublin Murder Squad crime series, In The Woods and The Likeness. 'Dublin Murders' is an atmospheric, psychological thriller brought to life by acclaimed series creator and writer Sarah Phelps (Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None, J.K. Rowling's The Casual Vacancy).

Citadel Theatre Company's November-December production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's musical JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT has been extended due to popular demand and will play an additional five performances, according to Citadel Artistic Director Scott Phelps. Originally scheduled to close on Sunday, December 23, the musical will now run through Sunday, December 30.
