Full casting has been announced for the upcoming national tour of THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a new musical based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist
Charles Addams. Tickets for the Miami premiere at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County will go on sale to Arsht Center members on August 15 and to the general public on August 22, as announced by the Arsht Center and Broadway Across America.

Rehearsals for the tour begin today in New York City. Joining the previously announced Tony Awardâ nominee Douglas Sills as Gomez and Sara Gettelfinger as Morticia are Tony Awardâ nominee Martin Vidnovic as Mal Beineke, two-time Tony Awardâ nominee Crista Moore as Alice Beineke, Blake Hammond as Uncle Fester, Pippa Pearthree as Grandma, Tom Corbeil as Lurch, Patrick D. Kennedy as Pugsley, Brian Justin Crum as Lucas Beineke and Cortney Wolfson as Wednesday.

Stage and screen star Brooke Shields will extend her run as Morticia in the hit musical THE ADDAMS FAMILY for an additional two months through Saturday, December 31 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street). Shields had originally planned to end her limited engagement on Sunday, October 30. 'I am having the time of my life playing Morticia with this wonderful company of actors. Morticia is such a delicious role and THE ADDAMS FAMILY is such a fantastic and iconic piece of entertainment that I just couldn't resist the invitation to extend,' said Shields.

The hit musical THE ADDAMS FAMILY, based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, celebrated its 500th performance with a special cake-cutting with the cast: Tony Award winner Roger Rees as Gomez; two-time Tony Award winner Bebe Neuwirth as Morticia, Brad Oscar as Fester, Rachel Potter as Wednesday, Jackie Hoffman as Grandma, Zachary James as Lurch, Heidi Blickenstaff as Alice Beineke, Adam Grupper as Mal Beineke and Jesse Swenson as Lucas Beineke.

Douglas Sills, a Tony Award nominee for The Scarlet Pimpernel, and Sara Gettelfinger, last seen on Broadway in A Free Man of Color and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, will star as Gomez and Morticia in the upcoming national tour of THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a new musical based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams. As previously announced, the production will begin performances September 15 at the Mahalia Jackson Theater for the Performing Arts in New Orleans and will continue on to over 30 additional major markets across North America.
