SAN DIEGO REPERTORY THEATRE in partnership with THE SAN DIEGO SCHOOL OF CREATIVE AND PERFORMING ARTS (SCPA) is proud to present Southern California's first regional production of the hit musical comedy HAIRSPRAY. For the first time in local theatre history, high school students from SCPA will join professional actors on stage for this big fat, gorgeous musical. Directed by San Diego REP Artistic Director SAM WOODHOUSE with assistance from SCPA's Artistic Director RICHARD TRUJILLO, the REP's presentation of HAIRSPRAY will mark the first time the musical has been produced as a regional theatre production in Southern California. Performances continue through Sunday, August 15, 2010.

Theatre Works Radio Theatre Series will air Top Secret: The Battle for the Pentagon Papers by Leroy Aarons & Geoffrey Cowan, starring Diane Adair, Bo Foxworth, John Getz, James Gleason, Gregory Harrison, John Heard, Charles Janasz, Raphael Sbarge, Russell Soder, Susan Sullivan, Peter Van Norden, Tom Virtue, and Geoffrey Wade.

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) begins performances for Top Secret: The Battle for the Pentagon Papers tonight, Wednesday, February 24 at 8pm. Written by Geoffrey Cowan and Leroy Aarons and directed by John Rubinstein, opening night is scheduled for Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at 7:00pm. The production runs through Sunday, March 28. According to the New York Times, the New York Theater Workshop has announced a project being developed by 'South Park' creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. The two are working with composer Robert Lopez, who won a Tony Award for AVENUE Q. The team is working to create a musical that will run at the New York Theater Workshop from August thru September.

San Jose Rep will stage the West Coast premiere, and the second U.S. production, of South African playwright Ian Bruce's psychological thriller, 'Groundswell'.

Top Secret: The Battle for the Pentagon Papers will stop by LA Theatre Works March 12 - 16, 2008 for five performances. Written by Geoffrey Cowan and Leroy Aarons and directed by John Rubinstein.

The San Jose Rep is thrilled to present the award-winning play 'Nixon's Nixon' on the 10th anniversary of its first appearance at the Rep in 1997; to run from March 24 through April 22 with an opening Friday, March 30.
