World Premiere of Barry Germansky's FOLLOW THE TRACKS WE FORGOT TO FINISH to Open Off-Broadway at Shetler Studios, 12/12

Conor Romero ('The Michael J. Fox Show') & Barry Germansky present the world premiere of FOLLOW THE TRACKS WE FORGOT TO FINISH - a satiric new play set on a stalled subway train deep underground - directed by Paul Dervis (Israel Horovitz's FREE GIFT, David Mamet's EDMOND). Preview performances of FOLLOW THE TRACKS WE FORGOT TO FINISH begin December 11 prior to an official press opening of December 12 at Shetler Studios (244 West 54th Street, PH1 theatre) in Manhattan.

Donmar Warehouse to Transfer THE NIGHT ALIVE and THE WEIR

The Donmar Warehouse is preparing to transfer both of its critically acclaimed Conor McPherson productions, The Night Alive and The Weir, within the next two months. The Night Alive will make its American premiere at The Atlantic Theater off-Broadway on the 30 November 2013, with The Weir opening at Wyndham's Theatre in the West End on the 16 January 2014.

Marlo Thomas to Lead World Premiere of Joe DiPietro's CLEVER LITTLE LIES at George Street Playhouse; Performances to Begin 11/19

George Street Playhouse and Artistic Director David Saint have announced the casting of MARLO THOMAS, award-winning actress of stage and screen, in the world premiere production of Clever Little Lies, by Tony Award-winner JOE DiPIETRO (rescheduled from the 2012-13 season). Mr. Saint will helm the production, slated to take the stage in New Brunswick, November 19 - December 22. The remainder of the cast will be announced at a later date.

Atlantic Screen Productions Brings A VICTORIAN EYE to Jermyn Street Theatre, Now thru Aug 17

Atlantic Screen Productions presents the world premiere of A VICTORIAN EYE by Rory Fellowes. Directed by Maureen Payne-Hahner, the show features designer Tim Dann, lighting designer David W. Kidd, costume designer Lyn Avery. Starring Nigel Dunbar as Sir William Blake Richmond R.A. Produced by Tim Hollier, the show runs today, 30 July to 17 August Jermyn Street Theatre. Press Night 31 July 7.30pm.

Atlantic Theater Company to Offer $20 Tickets to All Mainstage Preview Performances

Atlantic Theater Company is proud to announce a change to their ticketing structure with the introduction of their new Back20 initiative. For every preview performance of Atlantic Theater Company Mainstage productions, Atlantic now offers $20 tickets to the public. They are limited to two rows in the back of the theater, and availability may vary per performance. Disney Prepping HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, FATHER OF THE BRIDE, FREAKY FRIDAY, SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE & More For the Stage!

Last week BroadwayWorld reported that Disney Theatrical Productions has been experimenting with bringing a live stage version of THE MUPPETS to Broadway, but according to the New York Times, that's not the only project in the works. Many other shows based on animated Disney classics are being created for the stage including THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME (music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, book by Peter Parnell and direction by Scott Schwartz), for which a table reading was recently held. It was announced several year ago that stage adaptations of DUMBO (direction by Stephen Daldry), and Tim Burton's version of ALICE IN WONDERLAND (direction by Rob Ashford) were in the works, though no new information has been released recently on either project.

New Musical JUSTIN LOVE to Complete Diversionary Theatre's 2013 Season, 8/29-10/6

Diversionary Theatre announces the addition of Justin Love, a new musical fantasy, to complete its 2013 roster of mainstage productions. Joining the currently running West Coast premiere of Birds of a Feather (through March 3, 2013) and the San Diego premiere of the literary romp, The Further Adventures of Hedda Gabbler (March 28 - April 28, 2013), will be the West Coast premiere of Charles Busch's hilarious spoof The Divine Sister (May 23 - June 30, 2013), directed by Glenn Paris, and the world premiere farce She-Rantulas From Outer Space (October 24 - November 17, 2013), by Phil Johnson and Ruff Yeager. By popular demand, Diversionary will also bring back its twisted take on holiday tradition Scrooge in Rouge (December 5 - 29, 2013).
