The Grand 1894 Opera House to Celebrate 119th Birthday

The Grand 1894 Opera House will celebrate its 119th birthday in 'Grand' style on Friday, January 3rd with an open house from noon-5pm. In addition to complimentary tours of the theatre, visitors to The Grand may enjoy cake and refreshments served throughout the afternoon. The event is free and open to the public.

At age 15, Peter Noone reached international fame as 'Herman,' lead singer of the legendary '60s pop band Herman's Hermits. Beloved by screaming teens thanks to Noone's good looks and big hits like I'm Into Something Good and Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter, Herman's Hermits were dubbed 'the original British Invasion band' and went on to sell more than 60 million recordings, racking up seven gold albums along the way.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced their full slate of partner events and readings for their ninth annual festival. This year's Festival will begin July 9th and continue through July 29th.

Paramount Theatre Announces Upcoming Concerts: Alison Krauss and More

This past February, the Paramount announced to its nearly 13,000 inaugural Broadway series subscribers the four musicals on tap for the theater's second Broadway season: Grease (Sept. 12-Oct. 7, 2012), Annie (Nov. 21-Dec. 30, 2012), The Music Man (Jan. 16-Feb. 3, 2013) and Fiddler on the Roof (Mar. 6-24, 2013).
