Paul G. Allen's Vulcan Productions and Morgan Spurlock's Cinelan today announced the full cast of over 80 actors, artists and thought leaders who have joined world-renowned directors and leading economic advisors in the groundbreaking new series WE THE ECONOMY 20 Short Films You Can't Afford to Miss.

RAY DONOVAN series star Liev Schreiber takes the reins as director in a game-changing episode of the show's second season.

Throughline Artists will present SUMMER SHORTS 2014, their eighth annual festival of new American short plays from established and emerging writers, at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street). Performances will begin Friday July 18th, and continue through Saturday August 30th only.

Concerts presented by the Richmond Symphony Youth Orchestra Program (YOP) highlight some of the region's top young musicians. Students from grades 2 to 12 make up four ensembles, ranging from beginner to advanced. These FREE educational concerts are great for music-lovers of all ages.

Broadway musical director Mary-Mitchell Campbell (Big Fish, The Addams Family) will serve as the music director for the evening, which includes participation by Pasquale, Hunter Bell ([title of show], Grinch), Susan Blackwell ([title of show], "Side By Side"), Peter Jacobson ('House'), Lin-Manuel Miranda (In the Heights, "Do No Harm"), Krysta Rodriguez (First Date, "Smash"), Jeremy Shamos (The Assembled Parties, Clybourne Park), Wesley Taylor (Little Miss Sunshine, 'Smash'), Betsy Wolfe (Last Five Years, Drood), and David Yazbek(The Full Monty, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) At the end of the evening, the audience will vote on the star performer who most redeemed themselves through their efforts that night. NBC today announced that Paget Brewster will guest-star in a special two-hour season premiere of LAW & ORDER: SVU. Currently the longest-running drama series on television, the show's 14th season will premiere tonight, September 26 from 9-11 pm ET. Brewster, who most recently starred as Emily Prentiss on 'Criminal Minds,' will guest star as the head of the DA's Public Integrity Unit who has the unenviable task of handling the case against Captain Cragen (Dann Florek), who is under suspicion of murder.
