Laurie Sansom will direct Ophelia Lovibond (Lou), Ukweli Roach (Pete) and Sion Daniel Young (Ryan) in the world premiere of Barney Norris's Nightfall running at the Bridge Theatre from 28 April 3 June 2018, with press night on 8 May 2018. Final casting will be announced shortly.

Opening tonight 26 September, with previews from 21 September in the Emlyn Williams Theatre, the production will transfer to the studio at Sheffield Theatres as part of Robert Hastie's inaugural season from 18 October until 4 November. Classic Spring has announced that Anne Reid will play Lady Hunstanton in A Woman of No Importance from 6 October to 30 December 2017. Directed by Dominic Dromgoole, the production is the first in a year-long celebration of Oscar Wilde at the Vaudeville Theatre.

The Donmar Warehouse announces today two new plays for the 2017 autumn period.  Internationally-acclaimed theatre artist, Yael Farber, makes her Donmar debut directing David Harrower's haunting Knives in Hens with full casting that includes Christian Cook, Judith Roddy and Matt Ryan.  This will be the play's first major London revival since its premiere in 1995, when it instantly established Harrower as one of the UK's leading playwrights.
