Ben Rosenfield, memorably of the final two seasons of "Boardwalk Empire," and rising talent Sophia Anne Caruso will take on the roles of Woodnut and Iris, respectively. Ars Nova has announced an additional and final extension of performances for the critically-acclaimed world premiere production Jacuzzi, a new play by Ars Nova's Company-in-Residence The Debate Society, written by Hannah Bos and Paul Thureen and directed by Obie Award-winner Oliver Butler. Originally set to play a limited Off-Broadway run through November 1, Jacuzzi recently extended through November 8. BroadwayWorld has just learned that Phoenix Entertainment has on its agenda a touring revival of RAGTIME to commence in the Fall of 2015. It will be helmed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge, who received a Tony Nomination as Best Director for the 2009 Broadway revival. This new tour will be much in the spirit of that production which was nominated for 7 Tony Awards in 2010.
Musician/composer/lyricist Michael Patrick Walker is world premiering a new musical Dog and Pony at the Old Globe in San Diego. Walker is best known as one of the composers of the hit musical Altar Boyz. He was nominated for a 2005 Lucille Lortel Award for Best Off-Broadway Musical and for two 2005 Drama Desk Awards for Best Music and for Best Lyrics for Altar Boyz. The show also won the 2005 Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off-Broadway Musical. According to the New York Times, Mad Men star Elisabeth Moss is on her way back to Broadway. Producer Jeffrey Richards is currently in talks with the actress to play the title character in an upcoming Broadway revival of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play. Richards is reportedly eying Tony winner Pam McKinnon to direct the project, which is aiming to open in ' late winter or spring 2015.'

The 80th Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony and Luncheon is being held this afternoon, May 16, at the Marriott Marquis Times Square, where winners will be announced for Distinguished Production of a Play, Distinguished Production of a Musical, Distinguished Revival of a Play, Distinguished Revival of a Musical, and the much coveted Distinguished Performance Award. This year's event, which began at noon, is hosted by Broadway veteran Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
