Fresh from performing Edie Beale at 54 Below, Jeffrey Johnson brings pink-haired super assassin's eclectic cabaret act to the Big Apple's The Duplex on Jan. 24!

Lipscomb University Theatre and New York City's Group Theatre Too will present "The Nashville Choreographer's Canvas," an evening of choreography from Nashville's emerging and New York's established choreographers, Oct. 4 and 5 at 7 p.m., and Oct. 6 at 3 p.m. in Shamblin Theatre.

Under the clear and focused direction of Tim Larson and Clay Hillwig, who heretofore separately have provided Nashville audiences with a number of impressive theatrical adventures, this evocation of The Color Purple is made all the more appealing by its trio of leading ladies.
